Attention all Vacaville Unified School District area residents!
Vacaville Unified School District Measure V Citizens' Oversight Committee Membership Openings - Open Until Filled
Applications are now being accepted for appointment to fill up to four vacancies (up to three members plus one alternate member), on the Vacaville Unified School District Measure V Citizens’ Oversight Committee. We are particularly looking for members to fill the following categories, but all are welcome to apply: senior citizen member, one parent/PTO, parent, businessperson, at-large.
The application period will remain open until vacancies are filled.
The COC is responsible for overseeing the expenditures of funds from Measure V, the Vacaville Unified School District $101.3 million General Obligation bond, approved in November, 2001, for the renovation and construction of schools. The COC meets generally once every two months, in the evening, with additional meetings possible. The VUSD Board of Education is responsible for appointment of COC members. The term of service runs for two years, with a maximum of two terms.
